Bet...The Jart set killed and injured many animals. Between the time when someone would throw it and it would land on the ground, an animal would jump out of nowhere. Also toddlers would jump in front of it and get seriously injured. The baby dying kind of made the company think it was important to end making them altogether.

Their are other toys/games that have killed people. Mike Mozart talked about it once during a live show. Their was this one with a cardboard platform with ropes and a ball at the end. It was kind of like Twister, but the game would tell the player what body part the rope should go around. Well after the game was over people would be tied up together.

During that time in the 70's, a lot of people had glass top coffee tables. A few times people would fall over on the table and go through the glass and bleed to death because they couldn't get up.

One time 3 people fell into a pool and drown. After that the game was recalled.

You not being able to sell it on Ebay, well Ebay doesn't let people sell items that are recalled. I have always heard if someone buys a child's car seat or a baby stroller to resell they should look it up first and see if it's been recalled because it's common to do that. It's more a liability issue then them really giving a shit.

I don't remember the Bart doll with the green shirt. I never had a pull string Simpsons doll. I have about 4 boxes of my Simpsons stuff from my childhood. I have the Burger King Bart, and the other members of the family but they are from a regular store. Even though they look the same without the cardboard inserts. I also have a Bart Wind sock. I had a Bart figure on a skateboard that I still have on a Simpsons custom made cake that was for my 10th birthday. I also had napkins and paper plates at that party. I still have a sealed package of the napkins. I could go on.

I love seeing the vintage NIB figures!! The Madballs are neat even though they are the new ones.Goobianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09408678986941376875noreply@blogger.com
