PETA & The Westboro Baptist church irritate the hell out of me! I think there is a way to do things without being idiots about it, but some people don't get that.

We have a Planned Parenthood center in my neighborhood that always has anti-abortion protesters in front of it. I don't care if they want to protest and they have that right. But what bugs me is they hold up huge posters of an aborted baby on a public street where EVERYONE can see, children included. I don't think kids should be exposed to those kinds of pics. And for them to have a huge one out is just plain stupid.DChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17844489343577492512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6547384531221823188.post-11937359535926685482008-07-03T01:30:00.000-04:002008-07-03T01:30:00.000-04:00I've been to PETA protests. I've also tabled for them, and it comes with perks - a mask of cruel Colonel Sanders and a packet of fake blood, all kinds of wonderful stickers and flyers, posters of mutilated cow heads (had all of them hanging in my room for a while in high school)... I support PETA to a point. I'm definitely not a vegetarian, but I don't support the fur industry. There's a line you have to draw between a good cause and batshit insanity.

But that's beside the point of this post, isn't it? I will totally stand for Something and not Nothing! Maybe I'll Protest Against Protesters of Protesting? PAPoP?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
